How to read these figures
What is counted? Only songs/music actually listed in the opening or end credits of the film’s specific source media edition. Music heard in the film but not credited in that edition is outside the current count.
Which edition? The original source media and edition are referenced on the individual film page. Later editions may have amended music details in their opening or end credits; those amendments are not currently accounted for here.
What does “missing” mean? Absent from the soundtrack editions examined in that film’s research. This does not establish that a recording is unavailable on every soundtrack release or elsewhere.
Counts and percentages. Missing-song counts, credited totals and percentages are retained as documented by the researcher. Percentages use the researcher’s methodology and have not been recalculated. A figure of 100% refers to the credited songs/music counted in this research, rather than all music heard in the film.
Other ways to compare. Explore credited song totals or percentage missing for a different view of the archive.
Research dates and references. Consult each film page for its source references, editions and any recorded checking dates. Older release details and external links may have changed.
